Societal push

In the modern age of society, it is important to recognize the importance of human rights as a whole. A person born into this world is worthy of every opportunity, every given right, that is ultimately our “god given right” to exist and to be. Having these rights stifled or taken away from certain groups of people is unethical and truly a crime against humanity. Our neighbors are our closest community, some are old, some are young, some don’t believe the same things as you but you see them everyday and sometimes even exchange pleasantries as you bring in the bins. You wouldn’t look at your neighbors and think they are unworthy of basic human rights so why as a collector do you take from those less fortunate? Unity is a powerful thing. As we build communities and learn to understand how people work and live we tend to form bonds in order to keep that sense of community alive. Understanding cultures and different ways of life we tend to find were not much different than the countries across the way. Digging up pasts and our heritage and learning where we come from play a big part in unity. Morality is tested and ideologies are strained however, we are in a dire time for connectivity. We have the resources at our fingertips and within us to band together and really marinate in the time that we are currently in and truly try for a better future. Political and global climates are currently being tested as we face the brink of genocide and war. We cannot relive the atrocities that happened in 1939-1945 Germany. We cannot relive the horrible crimes against humanity. We are in the 21st century where a lot of people are aiming for peace and stability. The threat of war and violence only stifles progression and regresses us to a time that was full of negativity, violence and hatred. We truly need to focus on the future and how we can preserve love, compassion, peace and safety for our children and their future. Positivity and love in times like this may seem overwhelming and unfair but it is the only thing that can prevent horrible atrocities from happening. When we as a collective bring so much negativity into the front lines, as a whole we become negative and end up promoting negative behaviors. For decades we have overcome and have protested and spoken out on injustice, the marginalized, the outspoken and for Mother Earth in such a light that now has been ripped from our hearts. We cannot give up. We have to ban together and keep pushing for a better, brighter future. Unity. Peace. We cannot let a man in power take our progress away. In the darkest times we must be the beacon of light and to not be divided. We need to stay focused and not be distracted by the aggression and idiocy we see on the news or media in general. In love and light we shall prevail.
